Nintendo Video apps outside US and Japan (JP) (Nintendo 3DS)
Hey,
*** This service is no longer available. Nintendo already shutdown the Nintendo Video. Thank you. ***
For those who live outside the US country or Japan country (like me), and cannot download any video content in Nintendo Video apps in your 3DS, well, just set your DNS server in your Nintendo 3DS using these DNS server IP: “65.19.130.33 and 8.8.8.8 ( this is a google DNS IP, just in case if something goes wrong with the first DNS IP), simple as that!! and now you can watch Nintendo Video outside the US country! even on Mars!!.
Thanks.
Step for manually changing DNS IP in your 3DS, I’m sure most of you don’t know how to count in this guide, it goes from up to down.
1. Go to Internet setting in your 3DS.
3. Go to connection 1, 2 or 3.
6. Go to Change Settings.
4. Go to the next page and select DNS.
8. Set Auto-Obtain DNS to “No” and enter Detailed Setup.
2. Set Primary DNS as 65.19.130.33 and Secondary DNS as 8.8.8.8.
9. Save, enjoy your Nintendo Video.
7. You know how to count?? – LoL!
* 25 June 2013 – 184.22.4.38 and 184.22.4.37 no longer in use, replace it with 65.19.130.33 and 8.8.8.8 (again, this is a google DNS IP, just in case if something goes wrong with the first DNS IP).

No i’m not a genius, I just follow a guide from GBAtemp.net to do this and modified some on my own, and no VPN involved, the support for Japan Nintendo Video for Japan 3DS machine was a bit tricky earlier, but I found a new simple way to do it, but thats not important, the important things is they are working!! :D

To use the eshop you might need to change your 3DS country to USA because the eshop is not available in all countries. Also whether you use wpa2-PSK or WEP depends on your wifi network or router. If you are in a place that has wifi, you shouldn’t need to do any of these things, just press find network and choose your wifi network (it should have a name) and put your router’s or network’s password (if there is any). I’m not really good at explaining but I hope I could help a little.

So I have been using 65.19.130.33 and 8.8.8.8 as primary and secondary addresses until now for the nintendo video app and it was working great until a couple of days ago. Did those DNS addresses stop working? does anyone know of a new one? I can’t seem to make it work anymore but it was working perfectly a couple of days ago :(
